She is one of those rare women to take action against the thirty-year regime of Paul Biya. This is Dr Modestine Carole Tchatchouang Yonzou who lives abroad but who is present on the web lately. His remarks are sharp, his positions are clear; she wants Paul Biya's departure.

This long-running struggle began when she was at the University of Buea. She was beaten, hospitalized many times. Here is her own story she has been writing since she started fighting the Biya diet ...

It is hardly my 20aine started that I launched in the fight against the regime of Biya by the student strike of 2005. During this period, many students were victims of police brutality, of attack with their integrity physical violence, verbal and psychological violence and targeted killings.

Personally and only woman leader in this strike, after 5 days of hunger strike lying on a fortune card in front of lecture hall 300 of the University of Yaoundé I, I was beaten to death, three days in the coma at the hospital.

If I had the chance to come back to life, many of our comrades did not share my good fortune ...

The official sources announced the killing of five students at Buea University, but the reality is even more alarming. So, understand that I have been very close to the state terrorism of the regime I am fighting .We wore black that day to honor the memory of our comrades who had just been murdered at the University of Buea), yet my determination to fight for a more just world has remained intact.
So you who do not find anything constructive to say that to ask me to come fight with you in the field, I do not remember that you were with me on the ground that year, when I risked my life at the age of 20 for a better Cameroon. Remember also and especially that I do not ask you to fight for me, but for yourself and for your children. If you do not have enough courage to lift a finger against dictatorship, avoid being doubly useless to society by pulling us down with insane comments.
