Zimbabwe’s Late Opposition Leader, Tsvangirai Had A Secret Wife?

The state owned Herald reports on the woman named as Nobuhle Marylin. It is said Tsvangirai literally paid lobola for the woman last year during the subsistence of his marriage with Elizabeth Macheka.

The development proves revelations that the late MDC-T leader was a polygamist.

After his wife Susan Mhundwa (with whom he had six children) died in a car crash in 2009, Tsvangirai sired four other children with two different women before his latest marriage to Ms Macheka.

But the report does not mention a Norton woman, Josephine Chibale with whom Tsvangirai has two other children. ZimEye has before profiled the two children the oldest who is now nearing 32 years old.

After the man’s death in February, Tsvangirai’s brother said all children have to be treated equally.

“We have to treat all these wives equally,” said Manase.

The state owned Sunday News last year reported that Tsvangirai’s baby, Joy was born on July 27, 2017 with his mother having been admitted at the hospital on the previous day. The birth record number is BC 0085691.
