The commitment of the division of Mefou and Afamba, in the Central region, in favor of the candidate of the Rally of the Democratic People’s Republic of Cameroon (CPDM), Paul Biya, for the presidential election next October, remains flawless, we could say.
The banner unrolled at the entrance to the proceedings room of the mayor of Mfou, on August 3, with the message: “the Mefou and Afamba assures the president Paul Biya of his plebiscite”, summarizes the degree of support which will benefit the CPDM candidate for the next presidential election.
To give itself the means to achieve its objective, this electoral district, the only one of the RDPC at the moment, has innovated by setting up a political base of this division. This is a collection of approximately 4583 pages in 5 volumes, containing all the CPDM activists registered on the electoral lists in this division.

This box also provides information on their polling stations, registration numbers, and so on. Thus, out of 7 788 registered voters in this electoral district, 71040 are identified as responsible for the basic organs of the 8 sections of the CPDM.
It is therefore this practical guide for the mobilization of all voters for the next election campaign that was presented on August 3, during a meeting chaired by Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, the head of the permanent divisional delegation of the CPDM in the Mefou and Afamba.
This meeting was extended to the permanent regional delegation of the Central Committee of the CPDM for the Center, headed by the head of this delegation, the deputy Jean Bernard Ndongo Essomba, chairman of the CPDM parliamentary group in the National Assembly and member of the political bureau of the CPDM.
While welcoming this initiative of the Mefou and Afamba, the latter invited the heads of grassroots bodies and all the militants of his party in this division to move up a gear by ensuring that all those who are registered on the electoral lists effectively withdraw their voter cards and vote in favor of Paul Biya in the next presidential election.
No voice should miss the call on October 7th. It is only in this way that Mefou and Afamba, “the eldest daughter of Renewal”, as Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana affectionately calls it, will remain “an impregnable bastion of the CPDM”.
