Social Media cant get over Will Smith’s hidden pain after his wife claimed her relationship with August was “just an entanglement”.
After social media meltdown a few weeks ago about August Alsina’s revelations that he was involved in a 4-year complex love triangle with Jada and Will Smith – and with Will’s blessings – the power couple has finally come out and spoke on the allegations.
In a lengthy recording on Jada’s famed Facebook sponsored Red Table talk, the two came out to “set record straight” on what really transpired.
The couple claims they had to ‘clear the air’ on their private ordeal on the public platform because of pressure amounting from Black Twitter.
“It all started some 4 years ago when August Alsina needed some help and me wanting to help his mental health,” Jada started the conversion on the issue at hand.
This was at a time the couple was going through indefinite separation and they believe they weren’t looking forward to rejuvenating their relationship anymore.
Jada claims during that time she had with her 20-year-plus-junior ‘patient’, she fell into a different kind of “entanglement’ with him.
She tried, by all means, to run away from mentioning it as a relationship, but just a situation.
August had earlier revealed that this ‘entanglement’ had Will Smith’s blessing, to which the couple refutes.
“The only person that can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself,” said Jada, “But what August was probably trying to communicate, because I could actually see how he would perceive it as permission because we were separated amicably. And I think he wanted to make it clear that he is not a homewrecker, which he is not,” she added.
