One of the country’s leading media personalities Nomzamo Mbatha is set to host the Miss South Africa (SA) pageant.
For the first time in the history of the Miss South Africa pageant, the finale will be hosted in Cape Town.
Sun International’s Table Bay Hotel in the V&A Waterfront will be host to the most beautiful women in South Africa on the 24th of October 2020.
Hotel group Sun International acquired sole ownership of the Miss South Africa pageant hosting the finale event at Sun City and later Time Square Sun Arena and have now moved the event to the Mother City for the first time.
“The luxurious five-star hotel is the epitome of grace, elegance and poise, while the V&A Waterfront’s breath-taking views of Table Mountain, the City, Table Bay and Robben Island ensure it is the most visited destination on the African continent,” an announcement from the group reads.
“It is, therefore, a fitting venue in a fitting destination in which to crown this year’s fairest lady in the land.”
Nomzamo also has a long association with Miss South Africa. The UN Eminent High-Level Champion on Gender Equality recently delivered an admirable speech at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. Hosting for Nomzamo Mbatha is something that will not petrify her since has been in this business for long.
The Miss South Africa finale event will be screened live on M-Net and Mzansi Magic and will be streamed live for an international audience.
