Nakiso Borehole Drilling director Lincoln Masiyenyama has scooped coveted Zimbabwe’s Most Influential Young Corporate Directors, 40 and Under from the Institute of Corporate Directors Zimbabwe (ICDZ).
The meticulous and innovative 29-year-old entrepreneur has shaken the borehole industry in Zimbabwe, offering cutting-edge and affordable water solutions. At the peak of the pandemic, Nakiso Borehole Drilling provided access to clean water across the country and contributed immensely towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
“I would like to thank the ICDZ for this historic recognition, our clients, and our committed staff members who have made our vision possible,” said Masiyenyama.
The second ICDZ awards recognised independent corporate directors of public, private and non-profit board directors who have made ‘valuable’ contributions, and significantly protected or enhanced stakeholder value, especially during the Covid19 pandemic period.

ICDZ empowers many directors to lead with confidence in the boardroom, helping boards strengthen investor trust and public confidence. President of Governance Solutions, Dr Debra Brown, and the CEO of Institute of Corporate Governance in Dubai, Dr Ashraf Gama El Din spoke at the awards held at the Rainbow Towers Hotel.
