Revealed The Real Reason Facebook Creator Mark Zuckerberg Is Changing Its Name!

Founder and creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg shocked the world when he announced that he’s changing his globally known company name from Facebook to Meta.

He made the announcement at Facebook’s Connet augmented and virtual reality conference on Thursday, 28 October.

Mark stated in the announcement that Facebook is more than just a social media company and wants people to know that.

“We are a company that builds technology to connect people and the metaverse in our DNA. Just like social networking was when we got started.”

He says the company is moving away from just writing a post to living inside the social world.

He assured people that they’ll be able to do anything they can imagine in the metaverse.

“Get together with friends and family, work, learn, play, shop, create as well as completely new experiences that don’t fit how people think about their phones and computers.”

He added that people will be able to teleport instantly as a hologram to be at the office without commuting.

You can even do this with friends at a concert or in your parents’ living room to catch up.

“This will open up more opportunities no matter where you live. You’ll be able to spend more time on what matters to you, cut downtime in traffic and reduce carbon footprints.”

Here were some reactions from his Facebook announcement:

Asad Malik said: “Indeed the future is going to be beyond anything we can ever imagine.”

Tudor Havriliuc responded: “Fantastic vision, a brave and innovative decision that will change how we interact and create. I am beyond excited and proud of you and the team! Congratulations and I can’t wait to see what you build.”

A Nigerian man, Ifeoma Victory stated: “This is not new to us here in Nigeria. All these things you mentioned, my Bening brethen have been practicing since 1900. To fly or telepath.”
