Zex Manatsa has taken to social media to speak on his health after getting diagnosed with cancer.
He said he is currently admitted at a hospital where he is receiving treatment from specialists.
Writing on his Facebook page, Zex refuted rumours circulating alleging that he is stranded and that he was denied assistance by the ruling party. He revealed that his family is taking good care of him and ensuring that all his medical bills are paid.

My wonderful family, friends and fans. Some of you are already aware of my recent announcement, diagnosis, health condition. I want to thank you all for the overwhelming messages of love, support and prayers that I have been receiving over the past couple of months. I also want to say thank you to the medical professionals for the wonderful work which they are doing and for the latest report which suggests a positive response to treatment. Wonderful news! Not forgetting my wife and children who are ensuring I am comfortable every single day and facilitating my treatment. Lastly, I thank God for the gift of life and all my blessings.

My family, friends and fans, as you know I am battling cancer. The last couple of weeks have been tough on my body. I am currently admitted in hospital in order to be closely monitored and receiving treatment from specialists. Mentally, I am strong and optimistic. Mainly because my family is here with me everyday, all the way on this journey. My family has been and continue to take care of all my medical bills. We have not approached Zanu PF nor anyone for financial assistance yet and, neither have we been denied assistance as reported on social media by ZimEye. I am not stranded, my family is making sure that I am well catered for and comfortable. I and my family shall continue to keep you updated on how I’m doing OFFICIALLY on this page. Once again, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, for your prayers, love and support as always.

DISCHARGED! NDINOTENDA MWARI. A Very Merry Christmas! I am happy to be back home with my wife, children and grandchildren this morning on Christmas Day. I AM BLESSED! I want to thank my children for taking care of all my medical bills. I also want to say thank you so much to everyone that sent me messages of support, love and prayer while I was in the hospital.
