Eccentric clergyman and self-styled prophet Passion Java fed well over 500 people earlier this week. The garrulous prophet fed the people at Mashwede Village.
Most of the beneficiaries of the prophet’s largesses were carpenters and other workmen based at the Glen View 8 Industrial area. Java fed the workmen, after addressing them earlier in the day. In his address, Prophet Passion promised the carpenters that he had secured land for them where they will be able to work on their wares rent-free.
After finishing his speech, he told the men to go to Mashwede Village to collect the food he had paid for. Over 500 people are reported to have scrambled to collect the food. Writing on his social media page, Prophet Passion Java said,
I fed over 500 people yesterday, love your neighbour as you love yourself!
When a critic dismissed the move as being short term and unsustainable, the Prophet’s wife came to his defence and encouraged other people to follow her husband’s example. Wrote Lily Java,
People of God! what prophet passion has done should motivate others to get up and create opportunities for our brothers and sisters, he’s just showing the way. To motivate people to think about others. Prophet passion does more for his country and people each and every day; this is what he just decided to share just to motivate people to also rise up and think for others.
But in life no matter how much you try to be a blessing, people always want to correct or add how and who it’s should be done for. For example, for his birthday he was giving to women alone. Now he’s motivating and blessing men.
