That 'Red Table Talk' show has to be one of the worst PR decisions Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith made over the last decade.
The main idea was to get therapy as a family in a healthy way and fix their problems. Doing that in private can be a great idea but doing it in front of cameras and turning into a show for the world to see is a violation of privacy.
Granted, they had no idea the infamous slap would take place at the Oscars but they really failed to think it through. With more new information about the troubled relationship between Jada and Will coming forward, there's a new snippet that adds more insult to injury. It's from a 2018 clip in which Jada is sitting with Will, her mother 'Gammy' and her daughter Willow Smith.
She clearly reveals she never wanted to get married in the first place.

He confessed on that same video that he was planning on having a family since he was a kid. But Jada had a very different approach to life, which is probably one of the reasons she decided to get involved in that 'entanglement' with R&B singer August Alsina. As it turns out, Jada only got married because she felt pressure from her own mother.
But this 'Red Table Talk' discussion revealed her frustration to the world. With everything happening right now in that family, this suddenly becomes one more piece of the puzzle that offers more insight into why Will Smith exploded as he did at the Oscars. Living with a frustrated wife is almost always guaranteed to end badly.

Jada Cried During Her Wedding Out Of Frustration.
When revealing her frustration about getting married, Jada saw her mother in shock because she didn't expect to hear that from her. This is what Pinkett Smith said: "I was under so much pressure, you know, being a young actress, being young, and I was just, like, pregnant and I just didn't know what to do. I never wanted to be married.I really didn't wanna get married. We only got married because Gammy was crying. It was almost as if Gammy was like, 'You have to get married, so let's talk about the wedding. nd now Gammy done gone to Will, crying about 'I don't want a wedding,' and now I'm being forced to have a wedding. I just wanted it to be the two of us on a mountain because I was like: 'This is serious business.' I was so upset that I had to have a wedding.
I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle. I cried the whole way down the aisle."
