Just days after Hollywood star Will Smith lost his cool and assaulted Chris Rock on national television, local media personality Madam Boss also lost her cool and went on a foul-mouthed tirade on social media.
Madam Boss, real name Tyra Chikocho, lost her cool and furiously lashed out at daily publication The Chronicle after an apparent April Fools joke.
The publication courted Madam Boss’ ire with an apparent April Fools joke titled “Madam Boss files for divorce?”
Part of the article reads,

“Those who know Madam Boss know that she loves leading a private life. So bad is the situation that she has relocated to the United States of America and is working towards having her daughter follow her there,” said the source who preferred anonymity.
Madam Boss lost it, perhaps not realising the article was supposed to be an April Fools prank or not appreciating her personal life being used as fodder for jokes.
The article may also have hit too close to home. A few weeks back, Madam Boss’ husband, Ngoni Munetsiwa, hogged the headlines for all the wrong reasons. This was after his adulterous shenanigans were exposed when his alleged side chick tried to commit suicide.
Madam Boss responded to the publication with a series of foul mouth rants. She later deleted the post.
The media personality’s response to the April Fools day prank has divided Zimbabweans on social media. Some condemned Madam Boss’ post saying as a public figure, she should be exemplary in her conduct.
Others, however, defended her, saying that everyone has their breaking point. Many used Will Smith as an example of what can happen when someone has had enough.
