Madam Boss’ sister Dr Fungai Mtisi has revealed that the socialite is struggling with mental health issues.
This comes after Madam Boss had a meltdown on social media. The comedian, real name Tyra Chikocho, lost her cool and went on a foul-mouthed tirade after a local publication published an apparent April Fools joke claiming that her marriage was headed for divorce.
Madam Boss’ response to The Chronicle’s April Fools day joke about her marriage did not sit well with some Zimbabweans. They criticized Madam Boss for using foul language and argued that she should be exemplary in her conduct as a public figure.
Madam Boss’ sister Dr Fungai Mtisi has since explained that the socialite is struggling with mental health issues. Dr Mtisi said her sister is in a lot of pain and is seeking professional help.

Dr Mtisi also said that Madam Boss’ management team had previously removed her from running her Facebook page due to her struggles.

She had no kind words for The Chronicle and accused them of being insensitive in their choice of an April Fools prank.
