"You will never walk alone", was what the Liverpool fans promised Jurgen Klopp when he arrived at to take up his managerial post. In a turn of events he was indeed left alone.

And he was upset to have seen so many supporters leave the ground around the 82nd minute.
‘Eighty-two minutes – game over,’ he said.
‘I turned around and I felt pretty alone at this moment.
‘We have to decide when it’s over.
But Klopp insisted that the players have to do better in order to keep the fans in their seats.
‘I’m not disappointed about this, the fans leaving, they have reasons.’

‘Between 82 minutes and 94 you can make eight goals, if you want, but you have to work for it.
‘That is what we have to show and we didn’t.’
