One of the first conventional rappers Will Smith, who has since become an Oscar-nominated actor, is returning to music with a tour.
But it looks like Will Smith is ready to get jiggy with it once again with an announcement that his former duo, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, will reunite for a first-of-a-kind tourWill Smith’s upcoming album will apparently feature his kids Jaden and Willow (Picture: Getty Images) |
According to reports, Will has been in the studio with his son Jaden and daughter Willow, who have both released music in the past.
‘They’re helping him write some material and will even sing a few songs together,’ a source told OK! magazine USA.
The 47-year-old is also said to be keen to collaborate with his oldest son Trey, who’s a DJ.
However, there’s no word on whether his wife Jada, who duetted with her hubby on the single 1,000 Kisses back in 2002, will be on the album.
Will is currently gearing up for his return to music and recently appeared on Fiesta, a track by Colombian dance act Bomba Estereo.

Will began his music career as one half of duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, and the father of three recently announced that he and Jeff are reuniting for a one off tour.
The pair released their first album Rock the House in 1987 and its success landed Will his own sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
He went on to have a hugely successful acting career while continuing to make music and released a total of five albums with DJ Jazzy Jeff before going it alone.
Will, who has sold over 20 million albums, released his last, titled Lost And Found, in 2005.
