Arsenal Set To Rival Chelsea Transfer Move For Paris Saint-Germain Star Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Report

Arsenal are still in pursuit of the free transfer of Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, say reports.

The Gunners are keen on the 34-year-old striker who has attracted interest from Chelsea, according to Fichajes.

The enigmatic Swede is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning that he can move with no fee being involved.

Ibrahimovic is believed to be considering an offer from the Blues and a series of other clubs are desperate to land him including Serie A giants AC Milan, Chinese side Jiangsu Guoxin-Sainty and a host of MLS clubs.

And it appears that Ibra may well be on the move after his current manager Laurent Blanc admitted he had no idea what the future holds for the attacker.

Blanc said that the Sweden international’s future is ‘a big question mark’, adding: ‘His contract will run until June 2016 so it’s more about what the player wants to do.

‘We are all focused on the league right now but that is a question we will ask ourselves.

‘At 34, Zlatan is showing that he has still got it.’

Both Arsenal and Chelsea are aware of his talents and the clubs are set to lock horns for the bargain transfer.
