All hope of bringing the Bayern Munich forward to Old Trafford seemed to have evaporated but there’s fresh hope for the Red Devils.Pep Guardiola’s side are said to be looking at a replacement for the German forward with Domenico Berardi in line to move to the Allianz Arena.
And this has given Van Gaal – who tried to sign Muller this summer – fresh hope in his pursuit.

There’s no doubt that United need to strengthen in attack but that doesn’t mean Van Gaal isn’t looking towards the future.West Ham’s Oxford is undoubtedly a future star and he proved as much with a man-of-the-match performance against Arsenal on his debut earlier this season.
And the latest is that United will place an £8m bid for his services in January.

Silva has been in impressive form for Portuguese side Braga and United have watched him twice in the last week.
