Skeleton remains found at St Marys in Chitungwiza near a church shrine have raised eyebrows.
Residents are demanding immediate removal of the human skeleton remains and investigations to find out whether there is a link with the shrine.However other residents indicated they suspected it could be another unresolved murder case in the town.Some of the eye witnesses who spoke to H-metro said the discovery had left them terrified,saying they have since stopped passing through the bush area which is a shorter route to their homes.

Another man from the same area who requested anonymity said they suspect it could be another ritual case.
“In this age you never know because people can do a lot of things for money .It can be a clear murder case as well,We can not rule it out as well.
“But what is very clear is that this is not a graveyard and we do not expect to find any human remains.
“So what we would want is for the authorities to remove his and conduct investigations if they can.In our culture we cannot live with the remains of a stranger.
“I do not know what they have to do but this must be removed,” said the Chitungwiza man.
Asked for comment ,Police in Chitungwiza could neither confirm nor deny the case but referred all questions to the Police headquarters.
No comment could be obtained by the time of publication.The remains were badly degraded with indications it had reached advanced stages of skeleton decay with no flesh remains.
There were indications the bones were subjected to continued decay for periods that can only be ascertained by specialists.
