PROPHETIC Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder Prophet Walter Magaya on Tuesday met Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor Dr John Mangundya and cleared the air on bond notes saying the notes were a good solution but wrongly introduced.
Prophet Magaya opened up during a press conference with various media organisations during a midweek church service that was beamed live on Yadah TV.“I had an opportunity to meet RBZ governor and clarified the issue of bond notes that they are a solution to Zimbabwe but were wrongly introduced, causing people to panic,” said Prophet Magaya.
“People took the introduction of bond notes as a political issue, assuming that it was meant to replace the United States dollars.
“After meeting the governor, I suggested to him that banks must stop giving loans to farmers but instead partner with farmers for better yields.
“Methods of consulting people who represent organisations do not produce results compared to consulting people who are represented since they are the ones on the ground for true facts.
“Zimbabwe has enough land, human and mineral resources to produce enough and more to export for the good of the country.

“The greatest test of character is time, give one who thinks it’s clever another day and he will give you the correct picture,” said Prophet Magaya.
He cited amount of money lost in importing electricity when the country has enough reserves of coal for instance.
“If we do not quickly enhance and create new strategies, we will face problems as a nation and become our own enemies.
“Corruption can be stopped by the introduction of sources to fight corruption and the good thing is that our President is not corrupt,” he said.
Prophet Magaya reiterated the need to talk positively about Zimbabwe, urging media to desist from a tendency of portraying the country in bad light.
“To create mileage on our own local content, we need to talk good about what is done here and we need to list down all the leakages and come up with strategies that can curb them,” said Prophet Magaya.
Prophet Magaya took the opportunity to clarify that his wife Mai Magaya demonstrated the power of prophecy and healing after imparting the anointing from him.
“She is not a prophetess as what people wanted to believe since a prophet is not determined by healing or casting out demons like what she did,” he clarified.
“My son also prays for the sick and cast out demons more than what Mai Magaya do, but I feel good in seeing him playing soccer,” he said, leaving the church and journalists in stitches.
