Candice Modiselle has called out a Tweep who induced others to start a petition to ban, Mzansi Magic’s Idols SA, which premiered on Sunday, 2 August 2020.
It’s no secret that the scores for the display have drastically plummeted over its 16 season run, however, Candice has asked that human beings renowned the number of people employed by means of the production.
She said, “Yeah certain, you don’t like the display, but you’re also asking to “ban” the forged & team that consume off of this production.
Thereafter, Candice found out that there has been in reality a petition that was circulating, and changed into appalled by the reality that social media users felt entailed enough to create unemployment because they didn’t like a show.
There’s actually a petition?! That’s ridiculous. Art is subjective & SA audiences need to understand that. If everyone had to join forces to cancel shows they don’t like there would be nothing to watch. This false sense of entitlement social media has given some people is weird. https://t.co/qfjE0N68if— Candice Modiselle (@CandieModiselle) August 3, 2020
Sis, let me educate you... Yeah sure, you don’t like the show, but you’re also asking to “ban” the cast & crew that eat off of this production. Don’t forget that for many, it’s employment, not just some frivolous piece of entertainment you no longer enjoy. Just don’t watch 🤷🏽♀️ https://t.co/gFU8ufJhIV— Candice Modiselle (@CandieModiselle) August 3, 2020
