Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter to defend Master KG against a user who ridiculed the Jerusalema hitmaker’s reaction to being recognised internationally for the song.
Cassper Nyovest defended Master KG against a Twitter user who ridiculed his reaction to the international success of his latest single on Thursday, 3 September 2020. The user evidently had an issue with Master KG showing his gratitude to global stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Janet Jackson, who recently acknowledged his hit single, Jerusalema, featuring Nomcebo Zikode.
The user claimed, “Master KG [is] acting like a groupie to these international celebrities.” While Master KG did not publicly address the matter, Cassper came to his defence.
The Good For That rapper stated, “First of all, we all do not know [what] it feels like to have your song posted by Janet Jackson and Cristiano Rolando.” He ended the post by asking social media users to stop policing other people’s reactions and emotions to their own achievements.

First of all, WE ALL don't know how it feels like to have your song posted by Janet Jackson and Cristiano Rolando. Can we let the man enjoy his moment without having to deal with criticism on how to show gratitude. Let people enjoy their moments cause you don't know what it took! https://t.co/oHT0Ol44KO— R.M Phoolo (@casspernyovest) September 3, 2020
