Michelle Amuli was finally laid to rest this afternoon at Warren Hills Cemetary three weeks after she died in a tragic car crash along Borrowdale road.
Mitchelle who was affectionately known as Moana began the journey to her final resting place this morning at Parirenyatwa mortuary where she was escorted by family and friends to her mother’s house in Highfields.
From Highfields, Moana’s body was then taken to a Mosque from there it was taken to Warren Hills Cemetary were she was laid to rest according to Muslim burial rites.
The burial of Moana was postponed on several occasions after her parents Ishmael Amuli and Yolander Kuvaoga were engaged in endless squabbles that the High Court finally settled yesterday.

They want to take her where Moslems are buried I won’t even be able to visit and place flowers or to place a tombstone.
However, Ishmael Amuli dismissed this claim saying he only wanted to follow his Muslim culture and that women including Yolaner would be allowed to play a part in the burial process.
Mr Amuli subsequently won the rights to burry Moana when Justice Kwenda upheld the burial order that was issued by the registrar’s office on November 18.
Although Yolander and other women were part of the funeral and burial process, only men were allowed at the grave.
