Prophet Makandiwa Divides Zimbabweans After “Contradicting” Himself On Covid-19 Vaccine

Popular Zimbabwean man of the cloth, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has divided Zimbabweans after he backtracked on the issue of Covid-19 vaccination.

The founder leader of the United Family International Church (UFIC) has been trending on social media platforms since the turnaround. It seems that people are arguing on whether Makandiwa’s initial position and his latest position on Covvid-19 vaccines have anything to do with prophetic revelation.

Some accused Prophet Makandiwa of using his own personal beliefs to guide his followers on whether or not to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Some even accused the prophet of using financial motivations to change his position on vaccines.

Unsurprisingly, however, like everything which involves religious leaders, many defended the prophet. Some warned people against criticising “the anointed of God.” Others argued that Makandiwa has the right to change his mind regardless of his previous position on the issue. Critics, on the other hand, claimed that the change in position shows that no prophecy was involved in both positions.

Some Zimbabweans zeroed on the two pastors who appeared in all of Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s videos for special mention. The two pastors who appear to always be nodding and religiously agreeing with whatever Makandiwa says were singled out for their unwavering loyalty and support in all conditions.
