The proudly Venda girl from Limpopo posted her heritage day outfit with the caption:

Today I decided to wear all 9 official language outfits for heritage day … I am a Venda lady with African blood. I believe that as AFRICAN WE ARE ALL 1 .. and love and peace it’s life.

The caption was well suited with the outfit that she wore as she celebrated heritage day.

The South African State Theatre will be celebrating Heritage Day with a live music concert by the self-avowed “African Queen” of dance music Makhadzi, on 24 September 2021. Matorokisi, Murahu, and Kokovha are some of the songstress’ hit songs that undisputedly took SA and Africa by storm.

If there’s anyone who has embraced their heritage and takes pride in their roots, it’s the Limpopo-born hitmaker. Though she sings in Tshivenda, she’s managed to captivate a large audience who do not understand the language.
