In a bid to enjoy the hide my sausage game with a 'small house', a Bulawayo married preacher in the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe ended up getting more than he had bargained for when armed robbers pounced on him and stabbed him twice while he was having sex with his girlfriend.
The married man of God, preacher Douglas Mazengedza, could not afford to to spend the Valentine's Day without playing the pumping game with his girlfriend, neither could he afford to drive to the nearest lodge where he would enjoy his adultery desires without any disturbances. But instead, he decided to play Adam and Eve's garden of Eden game at centenary park - Bulawayo's most popular recreational park for wedding photo shoots.
Upon seeing the preacher's Toyota Fortuner vehicle "bouncing", the robbers figured out that the occupants of the vehicle were having sex, so they pounced on the preacher, broke the window and stabbed the adulterous man of God before demanding money.
The Methodist preacher, Mr Mazengedza, was reportedly 'feeding' his girlfriend's womanhood with his 'sexual banana' while listening to System Tazvida's music, supposedly the 'Anodyiwa Haataure track', and when police attended the scene, they found the said CD, Preacher Mazengedza's red underwear and the woman's black g-string in the car.
After being stabbed twice, the preacher who teaches his congregation not to commit the sin of adultery, handed over some cash to the robbers as well as his cellphones before the disappeared.
Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson Inspector Mandlenkosi Moyo confirmed that Douglas Mazengedza made a report to the effect that he was robbed near Centenary Park by unknown assailants who made good with his two mobile phones with a combined value of $80.
"We are handling a case of a Bulawayo man who was robbed of two cell phones and cash. Investigations are under way to ascertain what really transpired," said Insp Moyo.
Investigations conducted by My Zimbabwe News revealed that Mr Mazengedza who is also known as Baba Trust was previously based in Harare before coming to Bulawayo where he now attends Methodist Church in North End suburb.
He is believed to have misled his wife about the events that led to his assault. He told her he had been robbed and stabbed while walking from North End suburb, in broad daylight.
Contacted for comment Mazengedza confirmed that he was robbed near Centenary Park, but denied that he was driving in the Fortuner and was in the company of a female counterpart.
"I was robbed on Friday night and I made the report to the police that I was robbed by two people. I wrestled them until I managed to take the knife from them. I do not know anything about the car," said Mazengedza who also denied knowing Dr Ndebele, the alleged owner of the vehicle whose registration number is ABD 2555.
But a source said: "He is lucky the thugs didn’t rape his girlfriend. He went to UBH (United Bulawayo Hospitals) after the attack at about 7PM and was treated and discharged the same day. In a state of panic, he went on to make a police report which he later seemed to regret when he realised that the story could become public. He begged officers to tear up the docket or to change the date of the report to February 3. I think he was trying to hide the fact that he was robbed on Valentine’s Day. It was then that the woman fled."
