Afro-fusion songbird, Cynthia Mare, will add variety at this year’s edition of Miss Zim-USA pageant to be held tomorrow in Los Angeles, California.
Mare, who has since left the country ahead of the pageant, will share the stage with other rising musicians who have been drawn from the US.
The pageant, which is also part of the Zim Expo Business Consortium, sees different designers showcasing their products from the May 27-29 in what has been dubbed Memorial Weekend.
In an interview during her flight intervals in South Africa, Mare said she is excited about the trip.
“I am excited about my trip to LA, California. I left the country yesterday (Wednesday) and I can’t wait to meet the fans and everyone there.

The Dai Zvaibvira hit maker said she will make a lasting impression.
“This is a rare opportunity that has come my way, I am promising a great night and hoping to make a lasting impression for the diasporans to give them a feel of my new tracks,” she said.
Cynthia Mare has pocketed awards, featured at big shows and is one of the most active female artists in the country. She has three albums in her name.
The Miss Zim-USA was incepted 15 years ago, to groom young women to become inspirational role models in the different countries.
Some of the previous winners include Makho Ndlovu, Sandra Nduna, Farai Moyo, Farai Gundani, Kaya Chipungu, Elizabeth Chitseko, Busi Mlambo, Sibongile Mlambo and Thandekile Mellissa Rhoades.
