Some people still don’t believe that these Facebook posts are from the President or Presidency.
But we have every reason to believe its an official account since it’s rich with updates with activities of President Biya.
In President Biya’s most recent post, dated 25th January, he reaffirms that ‘Any claim, no matter how relevant, loses its legitimacy once it jeopardizes, even slightly, the building of national unity’.
This comes three days after he said, “It is not forbidden to voice any concerns in the Republic. However, nothing great can be achieved by using verbal excesses, street violence, and defying authority. Lasting solutions to problems can be found only through peaceful dialogue”.
